My Wish

 My Wish

To get liberation is my wish,
but not being detached from
this celestial earth.

The celestial earth—
where the splendour of Your action is scattered,
the carpet of aromatic flowers is spread out,
the morning becomes golden-red
with the glittering rays of the sun.

From behind
the veil of dark-black clouds,
Your melodious laughter is pouring on earth.

Tender maidens
keeping empty pitchers on their heads,
gladly walking on Rajpath,
go to fetch Gangajal.

Being detached from
this celestial earth
I don't want to get salvation.

Instead, sowing my sweat
in each and every particle of this earth,
accepting all the bonds— hurdles here,
serving all the creatures
I wish to make my human life triumphant.
